I'm Director of the CREAD for UBO, along with Hugues Pentecouteau, Director of the CREAD for Rennes 2 University. The CREAD (Center of Research on Education, Learning and Didactics) is an educational research laboratory attached to two parent institutions, UBO and Rennes 2.

I work within the framework of the Joint Action Theory in Didactics (Sensevy, 2011; Gruson, Forest & Loquet, 2012; Collectif Didactique Pour Enseigner - CDpE, 2019, 2020, 2024). I am interested in the relationship between practices, language and culture in education. My research is situated in cooperative devices called "cooperative engineerings", which have been developed in didactics (Sensevy, 2011; Collectif Didactique Pour Enseigner - CDpE, 2024), and in which researchers, teachers, students, and school families work together to develop educational devices. I'm a member of the Collectif Didactique pour Enseigner (Collective "Didactics for Teaching").

I'm a member of the UBO's research council and restricted academic council, the IBSHS's board and the doctoral school's council (ELICCE).

I'm a member of the national coordinating committee, and of the scientific committedd, for the "Lieux d'Education Associés"/"Associate Places of Education" (LéA) at the French Institute of Education (IFé/ENS Lyon). For the University of Western Brittany (UBO), I was in charge of the research program on cooperation at the CREAD ("PRT6") until 2024, and in charge of the master's degree "Research in Didactics", at INSPE de Bretagne-University of Western Brittany, until 2024.

In 2021, I defended an accreditation to supervise research thesis, entitled "Language and Culture in Education. From The Notion of Jargon to Cooperative Engineerings in Didactics."

Since 2017, I've been in charge of the "Cultures and Languages at School" engineering project (LéA-Ifé, COREF research collective).

I'm on the editorial board of the Journal of Research in Instructional Methods and of the journal La pensée d'ailleurs : revue de philosophie et d'histoire de l'éducation.
